Passionate about animals since childhood, Isabella now dedicates a portion of her time to preserving heritage breeds of farm animals, especially chickens, at Mama Farm. Isabella's 2018 book My Chickens and I (Abrams), chronicles her experience and research into heritage chickens. Isabella has also created a scholarship fund at Parsons School of Design in support of students who research and integrate wool from heritage breed sheep into their collections. When not on a film set or touring with her current theater production, Link Link Circus, Isabella can often be found at Mama Farm with our 200 chickens following her around like dogs.
